Time to go Visit Some Artists’ Open Studios

Get there this weekend to see lots of artists work under one roof

Hooray!  The time for artists open studios has come around again. I love going to open studios, it’s a great way to see work by painters, ceramists, jewelers and printers  as well as meet the artists, all under one roof. It’s easy to spend an afternoon browsing in the Wimbledon Art Studios and hopefully you will also bag yourself something new to inspire your life.

Stop by at a studio and get to know an artists work, Val Wolstenholme Clay paints other worldly landscapes and portraits.

Loved several artists work and have promised myself I will keep tabs on them. Take a look at Gemma Wightman Ceramics, perfect ceramics for making a moment special.

In Brighton throughout May is the Artist Open Houses May Festival which has been running for 30 years. There are several trails of artist open houses to choose from, at each venu there is an individual artist or a group of artists showing their work. Take a look to top up your creative levels or find presents for special people. Get it in the diary, an excuse to go to the wonderful Brighton at least once a year.
