Epiphany

Bright jangley colours

So today is the day to take down Christmas. Along with the excitement of the celebrations, I see it as a period that gives us the chance to have a few weeks of fun trying new colour combinations in the house. Colour, is a subject that’s long interested me, it affects our mood and behavior. I have used it effectively in a variety of settings, including hospitals and schools. This year I have broken with my more usual restrained interpretation to stray out of my comfort zone and made the most of my gipsy glitzy side, a part of me that’s usually well hidden. I have loved combining the bright, jangly tones of Mexican tinware and vintage novelty baubles, watching the colour work its magic, as the excitement spreads over childrens’ faces.
