I've had this spoon since I was a student

Cutlery’s been something of a fascination for me. There’s a different tool for every job and so many designs to choose from. When I was a student, rummaging for cutlery in junk shops, I definitely knew whatever cutlery I had would be part of the statement. Looking through my scrap book of ideas for a client I was surprised at how many images I have.

I pounced on this tea towel from  Charlotte Farmer at New House, she has really made something special from a souvenir spoon collection, using the intrinsic quirkiness of the different designs.

And there are images everywhere, but I never found the napkins I saw again, I really wanted them. Perhaps I’ll just have to do the design myself!
